Digital textbook project: chapter one
Here is my digital textbook chapter project for the textbook Teaching Social Studies in the Elementary School:Communities, Connections, and Citizenship. I used Canva and screen-o-Matic for my project. It is 11 minutes long. I really liked how this project was different from a normal assignment we were forced to be creative and use a variety of different digital tools in order to complete this assignment. This assignment opened my eyes to how a teacher can use different digital tools in order to teach effectively through zoom or google meets. I thought this project was also really fun to do. I am absolutely starting to love canva. It is extremely easy to use if you have a laptop and when using this digital platform students are not wasting paper or art supplies. If I have the option I will definitely use canva in my classroom.
