first trial job interview

 Clientmoji

Class today was incredibly eye-opening but also very stressful. I had no idea what to expect and no idea what questions would be asked, and I was not entirely sure how to prepare. When I did prepare, I looked up common interview questions and tried to answer them to the best of my ability. During the "mock" interview, I was very nervous and sometimes could not articulate the things I wanted to say very well. Sometimes I blanked on what I wanted to say or forgot to say something, which might have made my answer better. But it was also a very educational experience because it showed me what might happen at an actual job interview. It gave me a first-hand experience of how a potential employer may conduct the interview. It also made me realize how important it is to know information about the place that is conducting the interview beforehand. I'm happy I had this experience but at the same time wish I could have had this experience in all of my methods classes so I wouldn't have done as poorly as I believed I did. Due to this experience, I will use the resources found in the career center as much as I can before I graduate.
